You can use Maya Fields in conjunction with the Bullet simulation, in place of the Bullet . This gives you expanded control over the behavior of your solve. See
Work with fields for information on using settings.
To use Maya with your Bullet solve:
- Set up your Rigid body solve. (See Create Bullet Rigid Bodies.)
- Select the Bullet Solver. ( > .)
- Scroll down to the section of the Solver window and select .
- Switch to the menu set.
- Select the objects you want the Maya fields to act on, and from the drop-down menu, select the fields that you want to change.
NoteRemember to specify a ( > ) setting to each object when using fields, or your objects will be immobile, as this Maya Field does not exist by default
as it does in Bullet. You can set for every object in the solve if you select the Solver before specifying a setting.
