Use the Clear Coat utility

To create a clearCoat node

1. First load clearcoat using the Plug-in Manager (Window > Settings/Preferences > Plug-in Manager).
2. Open the Hypershade (Window > Rendering Editors > Hypershade).
3. From the Hypershade, select Create > Utilities > Clear Coat. (Close then re-open the Hypershade or the Create Render Node window, if open, to see the plug-in.)

   Middle-drag the Clear Coat swatch to create new clearCoat nodes.
