Installation overview

Before installing Autodesk® Mudbox™ review the following installation steps:

Verify that your computer system meets the requirements for Mudbox. Refer to one of the following for more information:
- System requirements for Windows
- System requirements for Mac OS X
Install Mudbox.
Refer to one of the following for more information:
- Installing Mudbox on Windows
- Installing Mudbox on Mac OS X
Activate your version of Mudbox as follows:
- If the product key that appears on the back of your DVD package is 498A2, see Activate Mudbox.
- If the product key that appears on the back of your DVD package (or provided when you downloaded Mudbox from the Autodesk online store) is 498A1, see License Mudbox. Additionally, if you are configuring Mudbox using a network license, see Network license configuration.
