Some procedures found in this user guide will ask you to locate directories such as /usr/discreet/sw. A path starting with /usr/ is hidden from view in the Finder. To access such folders from the Finder, choose Go menu > Go to Folder... In the sheet that appears, type the path and click Go.

You can also access such folders using the command line interface of the Terminal.
