Combining Colour Space Channels in a Clip
 
 
 

Use the Combine command to combine individual channels (RGB, YUV, or HSL) of three different source clips. To generate the new clip, the Combine command uses:

To combine channels:

  1. In the Main menu, click Format.
  2. In the Format menu, click Combine.
  3. From the Colour Space Type box, select which type of colour space you want to combine.
  4. Select the first source clip. The R, Y, or H channel information of this clip will be used in the generated clip.
  5. Select the second source clip. The G, U, or S channel information of this clip will be used in the generated clip.
  6. Select the third source clip. The B, V, or L channel information of this clip will be used in the generated clip.
  7. Select a destination reel.

    The generated clip appears on the destination reel.
