Influence

An influence is the object that is required for the behavior or appearance of another object to be correct. For example, take an “eye” object that should follow the motion of a tennis ball in a match. One way to animate this is to apply a LookAt Constraint to the eye, with the tennis ball as the target. In this case the tennis ball is an influence of the eye, while the eye is a dependent of the tennis ball.
