Goal Sequencer

Controls how actors move from one goal to the next in a CrowdFX simulation. Actors go first to the goal with the lowest index in their assigned goal group, then the next lowest, and so on.

For more information, see Moving Toward Goals.

Tasks: Crowds/Goals

Output Ports: result

Converging Factor

Controls whether actors converge or move in parallel towards the goal. At 1, the actors move to the exact goal position. At 0, they keep the same global offset along the goal's X axis as they had along their emitter's X axis.

Min Distance Mode

Controls how to specify the minimum distance to the goal (that is, the distance from the goal at which actors decide that they have reached it and proceed to the next goal):

  • From Goal Min Distance uses the Min Distance set in each goal's CrowdFX Goal Property Editor.
  • From Min Distance Input uses the value set by Min Distance below.

Min Distance

The minimum distance to a goal, used when Min Distance Mode is From Min Distance Input.

Randomize Min Distance

Randomizes the minimum distance to each goal.

Variance

The maximum offset from the minimum distance.

Seed

The seed for the random number generator. Change this value to generate a different random pattern.

Animated

Whether to generate a new random offset when changing goals.
