Best practises during online sessions

Avoid object duplication

If objects in the scene are duplicated during hosted sessions and then the action is undone, the host Showcase may have stability problems. Autodesk recommends that you avoid duplicating objects during hosted sessions.

Make sure client and host have access to the same environments

Switching between existing and created environments during a hosted session may result in the client losing the new environments. Creating new environments in hosted sessions requires that both client and host have access to, and settings set to, the same location for the created environments. To work around this, save any new environments to a shared environment library to which both host and client have access.

Avoid re-calculating ambient shadows at different resolutions

If you calculate ambient shadows at one resolution and then calculate them again at another resolution, you cannot use Undo to revert back to the previous calculation. To return to the previous calculation, close the file without saving, then re-open the file.
