Record Movie window
 
 
 

Lets you set properties and create an animation that revolves 360 degrees about a vertical axis. To access these options, select Render > Record Movie . See also Record a movie.

NoteSupported file formats include: .mp4, .flv, .swf, and .png (when set to File Sequence). You can also specify resolutions and aspect ratios larger than the current 3D View.
Presets

Lets you select from common multimedia and video image resolutions.

Width

Specifies the width of the saved image in pixels.

Height

Sets the height of the saved image in pixels.

Record at

Specifies the rate at which video frames are recorded in frames per second (fps).

Playback at

Specifies the rate at which video frames are played back in frames per second (fps).

Automatically Pause Recording When Idle

When on, Mudbox pauses recording when your tool cursor is inactive, preventing the recording of unwanted frames. Recording resumes when you move the tool.

Mudbox Window

Records actions occurring in the entire Mudbox interface, including trays, menus, and property windows. This is ideal for recording a movie of your workflow for instructional purposes.

3D View Only

Records actions occurring in the 3D View only.

Start Recording

Starts recording frames.

The following options appear below the trays after you click Start Recording in the Record Movie window.

Pause

Temporarily stops recording until you click Continue or Stop.

Continue

Resumes recording after you click Pause.

Stop

Stops recording and displays the Screen Recording Complete window. Options include:

Delete Recording

Deletes any frames recorded without saving a movie file.

Movie Format

Specifies the file format type to save the recorded movie. Supported file formats include: .mp4, .flv, .swf, and .png (when set to File Sequence).
