MotionBuilder menu bar

The MotionBuilder menu bar enables you to perform various operations such as creating and saving a scene, opening, merging, and saving files and selections, exporting scenes to 3ds Max and Maya, importing audio, video, and point cache files, importing and exporting motion files, batch processing and rendering files, as well as adding and saving file properties, and exiting the application.

The MotionBuilder menu bar also enables you to edit and animate elements in your scene, show and hide windows, set preferences and interaction mode, choose a layout or create a custom layout, access the Python Tools and various help menu options.

NoteThe Version Control menu is only available if you have a file management software product such as the Microsoft Visual SourceSafe^®, the Avid^® Alienbrain^®, or both—the Microsoft Visual SourceSafe and Avid Alienbrain version control software products installed.
