Make attribute connections between Scene Assembly nodes

You can connect Translate, Rotate, Scale, and Visibility attributes between assemblyReference nodes and nodes contained by Scene representations.

To connect attributes between nodes, the source nodes must be in a higher level of the assembly reference hierarchy than the destination node. Attribute connections cannot be made between nodes that are at the same level of the node hierarchy. You can also make attribute connections between shape nodes that make up a Scene representation. For example, if a Table.ma Scene representation had four polygonShape nodes for each table leg, you can connect their Transform attributes. Attributes connected in a nested file can be disconnected at any time.

NoteThe attribute connection limitations between assembly reference members illustrated in the diagram below do not apply to constraint connections. Connections between assembly reference members and constraint nodes are unrestricted. See Scene Assembly and constraint node connections.

The following diagram illustrates attribute connections for Scene Assembly nodes.
