Arm Controllers

CATWindow > Hierarchy panel > Expand the HubGroup hierarchy to which the arm belongs. > Click the controller to edit.

Arm controllers include CrossSwing, Swing, and Bend.

CrossSwing

CrossSwing controls the angle of the arm out from the body (arm Y axis). It is used in conjunction with Twist to tune the way the arm curves around the body as it swings.

Swing

Swing controls the rotation of the arm backwards and forwards, parallel to the body.

Bend

Bend controls how much the arms bend at the elbow.

TipYou will probably need to edit both knots to make sure that the elbow is bending correctly. For example, with a human, knot 1 could have a value of -64 and knot 2 could have a value of 24.
