Appendix E, Using the Help |

New security in Windows XP Service Pack 2 affects Autodesk browser-based HTML help systems.
The problem occurs when you start the Online Help. The web browser displays an Information bar (just below the Address bar) with the following message:
This message appears because the help system uses JavaScriptTM for features such as the Search tool. Internet Explorer blocks the active content portion of the page.
The solution is to change the default security settings to allow active content.
Go to Tools > Internet Options > Advanced tab.
Scroll down to the section labelled "Security".
Check the box labelled "Allow active content to run in files on My Computer".
Click OK and close the Internet Options window.
Restart the help system.
Note: Autodesk help files pose no security risk. Help files are installed on the computer when you install the application. Although these files are opened by a browser, the browser does not access the Internet when displaying the files.
