The raster paint module in Toxik is represented by a supertool node. The Paint node lets you work at any resolution, with any number of layers, and bit depths.
The paint node contains one or many layers of raster images and the compositing operators combine them to produce a single output image.
All operations, including painting, can be carried out while viewing the whole composited layer stack. Painting can be applied to any layer in the stack and the composite view is constantly maintained. Individual layers can also be muted selectively.
