Use
the Triangle object tool to draw a triangle or equilateral triangle.
The vertices are located at the three corners of the triangle.
To draw a triangle:
- In the Graphics menu, click Add.
- Select the Triangle tool in the Object
Tools window.
- Position the cursor and press to anchor
the first vertex on the image. Do not release the cursor.
- Drag the cursor horizontally to draw
the base of the triangle. You can continue to adjust the length
of the base as long as you press down on the cursor.
- Release the cursor to anchor the second
vertex.
- Move the cursor to where you want to
place the third vertex. You can continue to adjust the position
of the third vertex until you press down on the cursor. Press to
anchor the third vertex.

Drawing an Equilateral
Triangle
An equilateral triangle
has three sides of equal length. To draw an equilateral triangle,
repeat the procedure for drawing a triangle and press P while drawing the base of the
triangle. This also establishes the height of the triangle. Release the
cursor to anchor the second and third vertices on the image.
