Your application includes tooltips that describe objects on the user interface (such as buttons and fields). The tooltips also display the hotkey for the object, if one is configured.

To view tooltips:

1. Move the cursor over the object.

   After a few seconds, the tooltip displays.

In the Preferences menu, you can turn on and off the display of tooltips. You can also change the amount of time your cursor must rest on an object before the tooltip displays. See Tooltips Preferences.
