ProblemI can't create a multitrack audio fade-in at the start of the timeline.

Probable CauseSome of the selected tracks may not be starting at the same place at the beginning of the timeline.

SolutionBecause audio can be cut at the subframe level, an audio element that appears to be starting at the beginning of the timeline may actually be some fraction of a frame off (for instance, audio 2 may start a quarter of a frame after audio 1).

To fix audio fade-in problems:

  1. Zoom in on the timeline until you can easily see each frame.
  2. Make sure all selected tracks are lined up at the exact same place.
  3. Trim the desired tracks until they all start at the same place, then re-apply the fade-in.
