  2. Select a flip direction from the Flip Direction box.
    Select: To flip:
    Horizontal Each frame horizontally.
    Vertical Each frame vertically.
H & V Each frame horizontally and vertically.
  3. Flipping a clip vertically reverses the field dominance of the result clip. The Reverse Dominance box provides two options for correcting this so that the result clip has the same dominance as the original clip. When flipping clips vertically, select an option from the Reverse Dominance box.
    Select: To:
Rev Dominance Reverse the field dominance in the result clip. The first and last fields are deleted, resulting in a clip with one less frame than the original.
Shift Lines Reverse the field dominance in the result clip by changing the first active line on each frame. This is done by repeating the first scan line of each frame in the result clip. The first and last fields are retained.
NoteThis option is ignored for progressive clips.
  4. Select the clip you want to flip.
  5. Select the destination for the flipped clip in the Source Area or the Record Area.

The flipped clip appears in the selected destination.
