Relinking to File-based Video or Audio Media
 
 
 

You can relink imported AAF files to file-based video or audio media that have the same resolution as the sequence to relink.

To relink AAF files to file-based media:

  1. In the Clip Library menu, from the Interchange Format box, select AAF, and click Import.
  2. Enable the Link with video files and/or Link with audio files buttons.

  3. Click Load.

    The Recapture menu appears with a list of files and paths in the Relink area.

    If there are segments in the AAF file that were captured from tape, these also appear in the Tape List.

    If you are importing AAF with Varicam support it will be identified as such in the Source Type box.

  4. Reload the file-based media to the imported AAF file. See Reloading Imported Files.
