Modifying Clip History in Batch
Replacing Sources in the
Clip History
You can replace sources
only on clips with history that are in the Record Area. The sources
you swap must be of the same resolution and bit depth.
Replacing the source
clip in clip history allows you to:
- Consolidate sources before you archive
your projects.
- Reuse setups for different clips.
If the new source is
longer than the original source, the new source is shortened to
fit the duration of the original source. If the new source is shorter
that the original, the last frame of the new source is repeated
to the end of the segment.
NoteThe hot key to switch
between hermite and straight lines in the clip history view is now Shift+Ctrl-click.
To replace sources in the clip history:
- Select a clip with history in the Record
Area.
- Do one of the following:
- Select either History (Ctrl+F5)
or Large History (Ctrl+Shift+F5)
from the View Modes box in the Record Area.
- Double-click the H icon on the clip in
the Source Area.
