Inputting Media

Before you can begin any work in Backdraft Conform, you must acquire media. There are a number of ways to do this in Backdraft Conform.

You can input media by:

Capturing video and audio from tape. See Clip Input/Output Using a VTR.
Capturing 2K film resolution images through an SMTPE-292 HD-SDI signal from an HSDL-compliant device. See Clip Input/Output Using HSDL Devices.
Capturing video and audio using VTR emulation. See VTR Emulation.
Importing image files, audio files, and streaming media from the filesystem. See Importing Media Files.
