The Same Clips option is a shortcut for selecting clips from the EditDesk when you want to access Smoke modules. When you use the Same Clips option, the same clips that you selected the last time you used that module during the current work session are automatically used—you do not have to manually select the clips.

The search for the same clips is done by clip ID. The EditDesk is searched first; if the clip is not found there, the current clip library is searched, and then the other clip libraries.

To open a module with the same clips as previously used:

1. In the EditDesk menu, click the button for the module you want to use.

   A small “S” button appears to the right of the module button.

   
   

2. Click the module button again to activate the Same Clips option.
3. Select a destination.

   The clips you selected the last time you used this module are selected (if they are found), and the module opens.

   NoteIf you select the Same Clips option and have not used the module in the current work session, or if the clips cannot be found, an error message is displayed indicating that no previous clips were selected.
