When you enter a module from the EditDesk, you select the input clips that you want to work with. Each module allows for different variations of input clips, but the loading order is the same: front first, back second, matte third, and destination fourth. The only exception to this is the Action module. See Action: Basics.
Use this box to select the number of source clips you want to modify (for example, front only or combinations of front, back, and matte).
Any clip on the EditDesk can be a source clip. The order in which you select the source clips is important. The colour of the arrow cursor indicates which clip you should select next.
Cursor colour: | Use to select: |
---|---|
Red | The first (front) source clip |
Green | The second (back) source clip (where required) |
Blue | The key-in (matte) clip (where required) |
After selecting the source clips, the cursor changes to a white arrow.
