From the Clip Library menu, import graphic image files, film scans, video files, or AAF and FCP XML sequence files. Rules allow you to control how imports are handled.

To do so, you connect to a Gateway library which allows you to browse the file system of your workstation or even of a remote volume. See Accessing Gateway Libraries
