What’s New in Batch

Batch is a new environment accessible from the EditDesk record timeline. The Batch module allows you to procedurally combine images and effects to build a process tree. The clips and nodes you connect in the tree provide a representation of your workflow. Use Batch to assemble a series of effects operations, where the result of each task serves as the source for the next one.

Each task—colour correction, keying, compositing—is represented as a node in Batch, which you arrange in the process tree. By building a process tree of nodes and clips, you eliminate the waiting time required for desktop renders and you save disk space because these intermediate results are not stored. See Batch: Node Reference.

Any clip in Batch can be selected for editing in the Batch schematic. You can make additional changes to the individual timeline of a clip, as well as create and update Batch FX on the Batch timeline.
