Collapse layers to help organize your timeline without affecting the results of your vertical edit. Mute layers to temporarily remove them from the vertical edit.
You can generate multilayer clips from EDLs as well as by importing AAF or FCP files created in third-party applications.
You make layers current as well as resize, select, name, and lock them in the same way as tracks. See Track Basics.
