When trimming, it can be useful to view the edit sequence simultaneously in Head/Tail view and Timeline view. With Trim view, the Timeline view is displayed in its normal location, and the Head/Tail view appears above it, in what is normally the Source Area.

NoteYou can display the Player while in Trim view. The Player replaces the record reel above the timeline.
