Soft-Imported Media
Supported Image File Types
Lustre can access the
following uncompressed image files from a Stone FS or Standard FS:
- 8-bit RGB, which Lustre converts to 8-bit
TIFF files
- 10-bit RGB, which Lustre converts to
10-bit DPX files
- 16-bit RGB (for 12-bit uncompressed or
16-bit soft-imported clips), which Lustre converts to 16-bit TIFF
files
- Soft-imported clips in their original
format
Although Autodesk's Visual
Effects and Finishing products support the 16-bit RGB compressed
format, Lustre does not. If directories containing this format are
browsed, no media will appear.
