Split view is useful for matching two shots or for copying colour correction parameters from one shot to another. With split view, you see half of each image; however, you can pan the images. The split can be horizontal or vertical.
The two frames displayed in split view are the current frames on Playheads A and B.
To view a reference image loaded from a cut:
The last used view is displayed—either split view or multi-view. Split view displays two frames split in half while multi-view displays the entire frame of one or more shots.
The current frames on Playheads A and B are displayed either horizontally or vertically, depending on the last displayed orientation.
