Creating a Timewarp Soft Effect
If
you edit a clip to the Batch timeline so that the overall duration
of the timeline does not change, a Timewarp soft effect is automatically
created. You can change the timewarp settings with the Timewarp
Editor. You can also apply a Timewarp soft effect to create effects
that change the speed or direction of a clip.
NoteTo have timewarps automatically created
when the framerate of the clip you are adding to the timeline is
different from the framerate of the timeline, enable Framerate Converter
in the Timewarp section of the Timeline Preferences menu.
To
create a Timewarp soft effect:
- Select
the segment to which you want to apply a Timewarp soft effect.
- Click
the TW soft effect button.
The TW quick menu appears.
- Set
the properties for the timewarp. See
