About the EditDesk

The EditDesk provides the primary working space for performing edits and applying effects. When you first enter Backdraft Conform, the EditDesk appears. The EditDesk is divided into four regions:

• The EditDesk Library is where you organize media into multiple folders, Source Areas, and Record Areas.
• The Source Area holds the clips that you use in an editing session.
• The EditDesk menu contains buttons and commands that correspond to the various effects and image-processing modules.
• The Record Area is where you edit clips.
