- Save Screen Image

Opens the Save
Screen Image window, letting you set options, then capture an
image of the 3D View and save it in the
file format and directory you specify. Supported file formats include:
.png, .bmp, .tiff, .jpg.
NoteYou can specify resolutions
and aspect ratios larger than the current 3D View.
Save
Screen Image options include:
- Width and Height

Specify the width and
height of the saved image in pixels.
- Constrain Proportions
-
Locks the Height and Width values
to each other so when one value is changed the other is updated
to maintain the original aspect ratio. When off, you can adjust
the Height and Width values independently
and output an image with different proportions compared to the default setting.
- Use Screen Size
-
Exports the image at
the same resolution as the 3D View.
- Use 2X Screen Size

Click to save the image
at twice the resolution of the 3D View.
- Use 4X Screen Size

Click to save the image
at four times the resolution of the 3D View.
- Save Image

Opens a file browser, letting
you specify file format, directory, and file name for saving the
file.
NoteThe .tiff and .png
image formats are output with a transparent background that can be
composited using an image editing application.
- Record Movie

Opens the Record
Movie window, letting you set properties and create an animation
that revolves 360 degrees about a vertical axis.
Supported file formats
include: .mp4, .flv, .swf, and .png (when set to File Sequence).
You can also specify resolutions and aspect ratios larger than the current 3D
View. Options include:
- Presets

Lets you select from
common multimedia and video image resolutions.
- Width

Specifies the width of
the saved image in pixels.
- Height

Sets the height of the saved
image in pixels.
- Record at
-
Specifies the rate at which
video frames are recorded in frames per second (fps).
- Playback at
-
Specifies the rate at which
video frames are played back in frames per second (fps).
- Automatically Pause
Recording When Idle

When on, Mudbox pauses
recording when your tool cursor is inactive, preventing the recording
of unwanted frames. Recording resumes when you move the tool.
- Mudbox Window
-
Records actions occurring
in the entire Mudbox interface, including trays, menus, and property
windows. This is ideal for recording a movie of your workflow for
instructional purposes.
- 3D View Only

Records actions occurring
in the 3D View only.
- Start Recording

The following options appear
below the trays after you click Start Recording in
the Record Movie window.
- Pause
-
Temporarily stops recording
until you click Continue or Stop.
- Continue

Resumes recording after you
click Pause.
- Stop
-
Stops recording and displays
the Screen Recording Complete window.
Options include:
- Delete Recording

Deletes any frames recorded
without saving a movie file.
- Movie Format

Specifies the file format type
to save the recorded movie. Supported file formats include: .mp4,
.flv, .swf, and .png (when set to File Sequence).
- Create Turntable Movie

Opens the Create
Turntable Movie window, letting you set properties and
create a recording of the 3D View that
revolves 360 degrees about a vertical axis.
Supported file formats
include: .mp4, .flv, .swf, and .png (when set to File Sequence). Resolutions
and aspect ratios larger than the current 3D View can also
be specified.

- Anti-alias

Performs an anti-alias filter
on the pixels to produce higher quality results in the image. When
on, the render process takes longer.

to save the rendered turntable movie. Supported file formats include:
.mp4, .flv, .swf, and .png (when set to File Sequence).
- Create

Starts rendering frames and
compiles them into a movie in the specified format.
