To load an image in the Stamp or Stencil trays

1. To have the image appear in the Stamp or Stencil tray, copy it to the following Mudbox directories:

   Windows

   • <drive>:\My Documents\Mudbox\2011.5\data\Stamps
   • <drive>:\My Documents\Mudbox\2011.5\data\Stencils

   Mac OS X

   • /Users/<username>/Library/Application Support/Autodesk/Mudbox 2011.5/Stamps
   • /Users/<username>/Library/Application Support/Autodesk/Mudbox 2011.5/Stencils

   Linux

   • /home/<username>/Mudbox/2011.5/data/Stamps
   • /home/<username>/Mudbox/2011.5/data/Stencils
   NoteLoading the image into the tray provides easy access, it is not a requirement for using the image as a stamp or stencil.

   Images you place in these directories appear in the associated tray the next time you launch Mudbox.

   NoteIf the image does not appear in the appropriate tray, your Mudbox settings may be corrupted. Exit Mudbox, delete the Settings directory, and restart Mudbox.
