Synopsis

polyDelEdge([cleanVertices=boolean], [constructionHistory=boolean], [name=string])

Note: Strings representing object names and arguments must be separated by commas. This is not depicted in the synopsis.

polyDelEdge is undoable, queryable, and editable.

Deletes selected edges, and merges neighboring faces. If deletion leaves winged vertices, they may be deleted as well.
Notice : only non border edges can be deleted.

Flags

cleanVertices, constructionHistory, name
Long name (short name) [argument types] Properties
cleanVertices(cv) boolean createqueryedit
If on : delete resulting winged vertices.
C: Default is "off".
Q: When queried, this flag returns an int.

In query mode, this flag needs a value.

name(n) string create
Name the resulting object.
constructionHistory(ch) boolean createquery
Turn the construction history on or off (where applicable).
Q: When queried, this flag returns an int.

In query mode, this flag needs a value.
