To ensure the lesson works as described, do the following steps before beginning:

1. Open the scene file named FireTruck_published.mb.

   This file can be found in the Getting Started directory that you set as your Maya project:

   GettingStartedMaya2012LessonData\Assets\Firetruck_published.mb
   

   The scene contains the same fire truck model but with a complete set of published attributes.
