NoteThe hair follicles
you want to assign your hair constraint to must be part of the same
hair system. You cannot assign hair constraints to multiple hair
systems.
However, you can make
multiple hair constraints that are assigned to multiple hair systems
act like a single constraint by parenting your constraints to a
single constraint, and then hiding the child constraints.
To assign hair constraints
- Select the hair constraint you want to
assign and then Shift-select the follicles to which you want to
assign the constraint.
- Select
Hair > Assign Hair Constraint > .
The Assign
Hair Constraint Options window appears. See
Hair > Assign Hair Constraint.
- Set the Assign Hair Constraint
Options as you desire.
- Do one of the following:
- Click Assign Constraint to
assign the selected hair constraint to the selected hair follicles.
The Assign Hair Constraint Options window
closes.
- Click Apply to
assign the selected hair constraint to the selected hair follicles.
The Assign Hair Constraint Options windows
remains open.
- Click Close to
cancel the Assign Hair Constraint operation
and close the Assign Hair Constraint Options window.
If you clicked Assign
Constraint or Apply, the
selected follicles are added to the selected hair constraint or
the hair constraint is reassigned to the selected hair follicles.
