A setting in the Graph Editor that lets you scale down very large key values or scale up very small key values to fit within the -1 to 1 range.
When your animation curves are normalized, they are temporarily adjusted to fit within the normalization range. When your curves are reverted back to their non-normalized states, the animation curves are returned to their original ranges.
