With Bake Topology to targets, you can regenerate or update your blend shape deformations so that any topological changes made to your blend shape base shapes are also applied to their target shapes. Bake Topology to Targets is useful when you have to make topological changes to your base shapes after the blend shape is created.

  • Bake Topology to Targets produces the best results with polygonal geometry.
  • The Paint Blend Shape Weights Tool supports custom normals and UVs.
