The
Composite executable files let you verify stored information, edit
settings, and perform certain tasks. The Composite executable files
reside in the Composite program directory
            or in the Compositebin directories
            for Linux and Mac.

         NoteAs the behavior of
Composite is the same on a Linux or Mac workstation as on a Windows
workstation, the screen shots in this chapter were taken from Composite
               running on a Windows workstation.

         You can access the executables
            via a shell.

         NoteThere are no file
extensions on Linux and MAC OS workstations. Therefore, the executables
               don't have the “.exe” extension
as they do on Windows. However, the functionality of the executables as
well the list of command line parameters are identical on all platforms.

You can get a list of
command line parameters for any Composite executable by running
the executables without any parameters. In general, this provides
            some form of usage/help message.

To access the Composite Command Prompt:

            - In the Windows Start menu, choose Programs
               > Autodesk >Autodesk Composite 2011> Composite Command Prompt.
