Introducing Maya Live

Use Live control panels

Load Live

Although Live is installed with Maya, you’ll need to load it in order to see the Live menu set.

1. Select Window > Settings/Preferences > Plug-in Manager.
2. In the Plug-in Manager, click the loaded checkbox next to mayalive.

   If you want Live to load automatically each time you launch Maya, click the auto load checkbox.

3. Close the Plug-in Manager window.
4. Select the Live menu set.
5. Select Scene > New MatchMove.
   NoteYou can use other parts of Maya while Live is still loaded. Select Scene > Live Controls to turn off the control panel, then switch to another menu set, such as Animation.
