Using Nudge Tools

The Nudge Tools provide a manual method for making minor adjustments to camera position on selected frames. The adjustments you make to a solution using the Nudge Tools are automatically saved with the solution. Do not re-solve, because the solver would overwrite your adjustments.

To adjust the camera using the Nudge Tools

1. Open the Fine-Tune control panel.
2. Go to the frame number that needs adjusting.
3. Select the Nudge Tools button corresponding to the camera direction you want to adjust.

   Track - Move the camera up, down, right, or left.

   Dolly - Move the camera toward or away from image plate.

   Pan/Tilt - Rotate the camera up, down, right, or left.

   Roll - Rotate the camera clockwise or counterclockwise.

4. Hold down the Ctrl key and press the arrow key for the direction you want to move the camera.

   The camera moves one increment each time you press the arrow key.
