Extract animation to or from an animation layer
When
you are working with layered animation, you can extract attributes (and
animation) from one layer onto a new layer.
To
extract animation from your scene onto a layer
- Do
one of the following:
- To
extract the animation from all animated objects, select Layers
> Extract Non-Layered Animation for All Objects.
- To
extract the animation from selected objects, select Layers
> Extract Non-Layered Animation for Selected Objects.
The extracted animation is added to a new layer
called BaseAnimation_extract and
placed at the top of the stack.
To
extract animation from an animation layer
- Select
the layer from which you want to extract objects/animation.
- Do
one of the following:
- Select Layers
> Extract Selected Objects.
-click
the layer, and select Extract Selected Objects from
the pop-up menu.
The selected objects/animation are extracted
onto a new layer that is named after the source layer plus the suffix _extract.
