Constraints for camera translation and rotation are also available on the Solve Camera control panel.

Camera translation can be constrained independently in any axis. For example, if the camera moves along the X axis only, you can lock off any translation along Y and Z by setting them to Fixed and checking Static.

For camera rotation, however, constraints apply to all axes at once. If you set a constraint on the X axis, Maya Live applies the setting to Y and Z as well. You cannot constrain for rotation in a single axis, but you can still help the solver by adding Depth constraints (see Depth constraints).
