This section contains information for installing Autodesk LandXplorer Studio Professional. In order to install LandXplorer Studio Professional, you must have administrative permissions. Otherwise, the installation process may be unsuccessful.
To install Autodesk LandXplorer Studio Professional

| 1. | Insert the LandXplorer Studio Professional Setup DVD into your CD/DVD drive to start the installation process. |
If the Setup Assistant does not start automatically, browse to the LandXplorer Studio Professional Setup DVD and double-click Setup.exe.
| 2. | On the Select Setup Language dialog box, select the language you want to use during installation. |
| 3. | On the Welcome page of the Setup Assistant, click Next. |
| 4. | On the License Agreement page, review the software license agreement and accept the agreement to proceed with the installation. Click I Accept The Agreement, and then click Next. |
Note: If you do not agree to the terms of the license and want to terminate the installation, click Cancel.
| 5. | On the Select Destination Location page, specify where you want the product installed. Click Next to accept the default location. |
Optionally, click Browse to specify a new location.
| 6. | On the Select Components page, specify which components should get installed. Click Next. |
| 7. | On the Select Start Menu Folder page, do one of the following; |
| • | Accept the default start menu folder location. |
| • | Click Browse to specify a different start menu folder location. |
| • | Choose not to create a start menu folder. |
Click Next.
| 8. | On the Select Additional Tasks page, specify the following; |
| • | Create a desktop shortcut. |
| • | Create a quick launch icon in the start menu. |
| • | Make file associations with LandXplorer Studio Professional. |
Click Next.
| 9. | On the Ready To Install page, review the installation settings you've made and do one of the following; |
| • | Click Install to install LandXplorer Studio Professional. |
| • | Click Back until you reach the page containing errant data and make the necessary changes. Click Next to return to the Ready To Install page, and click Install. |
The Setup Assistant displays a progress page indicating that LandXplorer Studio Professional is being installed to the system. This will take several minutes.
| 10. | When the installation is complete, you can choose whether to restart the computer now or later. Click Finish. |

| • | To run Autodesk LandXplorer Studio Professional, click Start menu (Windows) > All Programs (or Programs) > Autodesk > LandXplorer Studio Professional 2009 > LandXplorer Studio Professional 2009. |
