Recommended development environments

The following table lists the platforms and compilers recommended for developing plug-ins, converters, and other applications with FBX SDK:

Windows XP (SP2 and above). Windows Vista. Windows 7.	Visual Studio 2005. Visual Studio 2008.
Linux	Any implementation that provides gcc version 4.0.2 and above.
Mac OS X	gcc 4.0.x on Intel x86.

If your platform or compiler is not listed above, you may not be able to compile programs that use FBX SDK.
