Removing Download Manager

If you want to remove all traces of DLM from your computer, first uninstall DLM and Akamai NetSession Interface, and then remove the support file.

DLM must be shut down before being removed. To check the status of DLM, show the hidden icons on the Windows Taskbar in the lower right corner of your screen. If DLM is minimized there, right-click Exit.

Uninstalling DLM and Akamai NetSession Interface

Click Windows Start menu Control Panel Uninstall a Program.
On the program list, right-click Autodesk Download Manager Uninstall.
On the same program list, right-click Akamai NetSession Interface Uninstall/Change Uninstall.

Removing the Support File

To completely remove DLM from your system, find and delete the configuration file download.info.

In Windows XP, enter this path string in Windows Explorer: %userprofile%\Local Settings\Application Data\Autodesk\Autodesk Download Manager.
In other Windows operating systems, enter this path string in Windows Explorer: %LOCALAPPDATA%\Autodesk\Autodesk Download Manager.
