Switches between allowing single key hotkeys (hotkeys without modifiers), and allowing typing directly to the prompt line.

Alias allows you to select one of two behaviors for the interpretation of keystrokes while using a tool:

• Prompt line mode – Any keystroke goes directly to the prompt line. You can only use hotkeys that have a modifier key ( (Windows) or (Mac), , (Windows) or (Mac)). This is the default (no check mark next to Toggle Single Hotkeys).
• Single key hotkey mode – Any keystroke is interpreted as a hotkey first. You must click the prompt line to type into it. Single key hotkey mode allows you to work more efficiently by assigning tools and menu items to single keystrokes. This mode is used when there is a check mark next to Toggle Single Hotkeys.

Choose the menu item to switch between the two modes.
