Choose a menu item

The menu bar contains a series of pull-down menus. Each menu contains a group of related commands.

Choose a menu item

Click the menu name along the top of the main window.
Click or release the mouse on the command name to choose the command.
Tip
Double-click a menu title to reselect the last command chosen from the menu.

What if...?

I can’t find a menu item?

You can customize your Alias preferences to display a shorter list of menu items. Choose Preferences > Menus > Long Menus to show all menu options.

Choose Help > Tool Locator and type the name of the menu item to show its location in the interface.
