Inserts edit points into a curve, or edit point isoparametric curves into a surface. This results in additional spans/patches and accompanying CVs.

1. Choose Object Edit > Insert .
2. Click the curve or surface.

   For surfaces, click the type of isoparametric curve (U or V) you want to insert.

3. Drag the locator to the position at which you want to insert.
   TipPress (Windows) or (Mac) and click to snap to the halfway (in parametric distance) points between edit points/isoparametric curves.
4. Click Go.
