A new selection mode (Add) is now available. In this mode, all picked objects are added to the selection. Already picked objects remain picked.
In the new Preferences > Selection Options window, this mode can be mapped to any of the mouse buttons.
Below is a description of the different selection modes. Any one of these modes can be assigned to any of the three mouse buttons through the Selection Options window.

The selection mode assigned to a mouse button also applies when using a selection box, as well as when using the lasso option in Pick > Point Types > CV ❒ or Pick > Edit Point.
